Introduction
Cementation Africa invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Developer to be placed in Mponeng Carletonville. The successful candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor mining
The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates.

Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Blasting Operations
- Adhering to company policies and procedures and also comply to Health and Safety requirements
- Meet production targets
- Planning, organising , leading and controlling the team
- Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports
- Employee capacity development and performance management
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12
- Blasting Certificate
- Recognised Shift Supervisor Certificate (advantageous)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Medically fit (Including HTS & RFA)
- Sound level of English literacy and numeracy
- Clear criminal record
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience underground mining
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures, policies and records
- Supervisory training will be an added advantage
- Relevant Shaft sinking Experience
- Extensive knowledge of mechanised Decline development operations
- Proven track record of Decline development
